2nd March 2008, Puppy Of Group Win

Buffy wins Puppy of Group at the Canterbury Ladies Kennel Association Shows in Christchurch under judge M Patten (NSW). She also wins her 8th challenge certificate which gives her enough points to finish her Championship, though she needs to be a year old to be awarded her championship.

2nd December 2007, Open In Show and Group 1 Win

Tonka wins Open In Show and Group 1 at the South Taranaki Kennel Centre Show under judge M Davies (NSW) and R Curtis (NSW) .

2nd December 2007, Group 2 Win

Tonka wins Group 2, Reserve of Group, and Open of Group at the South Taranaki Non-Sporting and Utility Dog Society under judge L Manners.

1st December 2007, Best In Show Win

Tonka wins Best In Show and Open In Show at the South Taranaki Non-Sporting and Utility Dog Society under judge Chris Graham.

24 the November , Res Best In Show Win

Tonka wins Res Best In Show at the Wairarapa Kennel Assocation Shows under judges Mr Tony Johnson (WA) and Mrs C Davis (NSW) .

28th November 2007, Baby Puppy In Show Win

Buffy wins Baby Puppy In Show at the Waimate Kennel Society shows under Judge Nigel Trainer .

Buffy wins Baby Puppy Of Group at the West Coast Kennel Association Shows .

28th September 2007, Group Win At National Dog Show

Murphy wins Baby Puppy of Group at the National Dog Show in Wellington and Tonka takes Best Of Breed. This was Murphy's first weekend of shows. Pictures will be up on his webpage soon.

28th July 2007, Race Win At Derby

Tonka and Mia win the two dog freight race at the Sled Dog Derby and Neo finishes second and the fastest malamute home in the single dog race.

7th July 2007, Tonka Wins Group 1

Tonka wins Group 1, Best of Group, and Open of Group at the Hutt Valley Kennel Centre shows under judge Kim Crysell.

23rd June 2007, Meila & Tonka earn SD titles

Meila and Tonka complete their Sled Dog (SD) titles at the Vineyard Classic Race. This is particularly impressive for Meila who has only been racing for just over a year. Meila was bred by Trinity Kennels and is sister to Mia.

23rd June 2007, Race Win Vineyard Classic

Neo and Mia win the 2 dog freight race at the Vineyard Classic and Tonka finishes third in the single dog freight race. Congratulations also to Meila who won the single dog freight race. Meila was bred by Trinity Kennels.

16th June 2007, Group 2

Tonka wins Group 2, reserve of Group, and Best of Breed at the Upper Hutt Kennel Assn Shows under judge D Brown.

3rd June 2007 ,Race Win Autumn Burn

Neo and Mia win the 2 dog freight race at the first race of the season, the Autumn Burn.

Blondie's puppies arrive, 4 boys and 6 girls. All are doing well and growing fast.

19th November 2006, Baby Puppy In Show

Bailey wins Baby Puppy In Show and Best of Breed at the Wairarapa Kennel Ass Shows under judges Craig Scott and Joan Bennett.

14th October 2006, Baby Puppy In Show

Elle wins Baby Puppy In Show her first show out under Australian judge Mrs B Hessian at the Ruahine Kennel Association Show. She also take best bitch over much older competition.

1st October 2006, Congratulations Cola

Congratulations to Mel and Cola on winning the AMCV specialty under American specialist judge Shilon Bedford. This was Cola's first time being shown in Australia. Cola is uncle to Robbie and Cassie and granddad to Elle, Carson and Bailey.

Tonka wins New Zealand Bred In Show, New Zealand Bred In Group and Best Of Breed at the Hawkes Bay Non-Sporting and Utility Show under judges Mr Pickering from Australia and Mrs Parker from New Zealand.

26th August 2006, Race Win

Congratulations Meila on another great race win. Meila won the Single Dog Freight Race at the Northern Alaskan Malamute Club races at Iwitahi.

Tonka wins Reserve of Group, Group 2, and NZ Bred of Group at the Wellington Ladies Kennel Assn show under judge F Ward from Victoria.

19th & 20th August 2006, Race Win

Congratulations to Meila on winning the Single Dog Freight Race at the Fur Fliers race at Iwitahai on the Saturday and taking 2nd place on Sunday.

Neo wins the Single Freight Race at the CTSHC Sled Dog Derby at Waiterere Forest on 30th July.

Tonka takes New Zealand Bred Of Group and Best Of Breed at the Pencarrow Kennel Ass Shows on 29th July under judge Stephen Peel, Auckland.

24th June 2006, Congratulations Meila

Congratulations to Meila on winning the single dog freight class at the Vineyard Classic race in Napier.  Not bad for her first competitive race.  Meila is sister to Mia and was bred by Trinity Kennels.

7th June 2006, Blondie and Albert's Puppies Arrive

On 7th June Blondie had 9 puppies, 5 boys and 4 girls. All puppies are grey. Both mum and puppies are doing really well. Check out our puppies page for pictures.

4th June 2006, First Race Of Season

Neo wins the Single Dog Freight Race at the first race of the season, the Autumn Burn at Waiterere Forest.

24th May, Mia and Lincoln's Puppies Arrive

On 24th May Mia had 7 puppies, 6 girls and 1 boy. 2 of the girls were seal and 4 grey and the boy was seal. Both mum and the puppies are doing really well. Check out our puppies page for pictures.

30th April 2006, Group 1 and Res BIS

Tonka takes Best Of Group (Group 1) and Res Best In Show at the New Plymouth Kennel Centre show under judges Mrs Diane Anderson from USA and Mrs F McDonald (NSW). He also takes Open Of Group the previous day under judge Kelly Martin from Napier.

Puppies Due 7th June 2006

Blondie has been bred to 'Albert' Sno Klassic Heartbeat Of America, and puppies are expected on7th June 2006. Although Albert is just over a year and a half old he already has his two majors and only needs a few more points to finish his Amercian championship. Albert has lovely dark, almost black, eyes, great pigment, solid bone and wonderful side gait. Albert's dad is 'Cola' Am Ch Sno Klassic 'N' Nanuke's The Real Thing who is a litter brother to 'Costello' BIS BISS Am Ch Nanuke's Snoklassic No Boundaries the current number 1 Alaskan Malamute in USA. Albert's grandfather on his mothers side is 'Calvin' BIS Am/Can Ch Taolan Traces Of The Cat.

Puppies Due 25th May 2006

Mia has been bred to 'Lincoln' Am Ch Sno Klassic 'N' Nanukes Take Now Pay Later, and puppies are expected on 25th May 2006. Lincoln is litter brother to 'Costello' BIS BISS Am Ch Nanuke's Snoklassic No Boundaries the current number 1 Alaskan Malamute in USA and winner of the Eukanuba National Championship. Lincoln has a huge coat, great bone and a beautiful broard head with small ears. He's an absolute clown and has to be in your face making sure you know he's there. Lincoln already has a specialty winning son in USA 'Player' BISS AM Ch Sno Klassic Play The Game.

Tonka takes Best Of Group (Group 1) and New Zealand Bred In Show at the Wanganui Kennel Society morning show under judges Ray Greer from Auckland and A McQuire from Queensland Australia. He also takes New Zealand bred of Group at the afternoon show.

Tonka takes New Zealand Bred Of Group at the Kapi Mana Kennel Society show on 21st December under judge Pat Hastings (USA)

15th January 2006, Congratulations Costello

Blondie's cousin Costello, CH Nanuke’s Snoklassic No Boundaries, wins the biggest show in USA the Eukanuba National Championship and takes away $80,000 in prize money. Congratulations Costello. Congratulations to his breeders Tex and Patty Ann Peel (Sno Klassic) and Sandra D'Andrea (Nanuke).

17th December 2005, Blondie Finishes American Championship

Blondie finishes her American Championship at 17 months old going winners bitch at both the Medina Kennel Club show on 16th and Richland County Kennel Club show on 17th December. These shows were in Cleveland Ohio.

10th - 11th December 2005, 2x Group 2

Tonka takes Reserve of Group (Group 2) at both of the East Coast Ladies Kennel Assn shows on 10th and 11th December, he also takes Open of Group on the Saturday. Judges were Mr N Gouzos (South Australia) on Saturday and Mrs L Chalmers (Christchurch) on Sunday.

3rd - 4th December 2005, 2x OOG

Tonka takes Open of Group at both the New Plymouth Kennel Centre Show and the South Taranaki Kennel Centre Show under judges Mrs D Smith and Mr W Smith respectively, both from Queensland, Australia.

11th-13th November 2005, USA Results

Greater Muskegon KC November 11 - Blondie wins Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex.
Kalamazoo KC November 12 - Blondie wins Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex.
Grand Rapids KC November 13 - Blondie wins Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex.

1st-5th November 2005, USA National Specialty

*** NEWS FLASH *** Blondie wins the Grand Futurity at the Alaskan Malamute Club of America National Specialty, held in Columbus, Indiana. Blondie also takes first in her class at the Regional Specialty prior to the National and 4th in her class at the National.

This is the first time we know of that a New Zealander has shown their own dog at the AMCA National Specialty. The Grand Futurity is the breeders showcase for the future and is a huge win at the National. Blondie took away USD$700 in cash, the biggest rosette we've ever seen and a winners plaque to hang on the wall.

23nd October 2005, Winners Bitch

Blondie takes Winners Bitch at Battle Creek Kennel Club handled by Nicolette on the day she arrived in Michigan. After two days without sleep I can't remember too much of my first show experience with her!

Nicolette leaves for USA to stay with Tex and Patty-Ann and show Blondie at the American National Malamute Specialty.

17th & 18th September 2005, NZ Bred In Show and ROG Win

Tonka wins NZ Bred In Show and NZ Bred Of Group at the Napier Kennel Centre shows on the Saturday under judges Mr W Burton (NSW) and Mrs G Gulbransen (PN). He then takes Res Of Group (Group 2) and NZ Bred Of Group on the Sunday under judge Mrs G Gulbransen (PN).

20th August 2005, NZ Bred In Show Win

Tonka wins NZ Bred In Show at the Wellington Ladies Kennel Assn shows under Australian judge Mrs A Bowe from NSW. The following day he also takes NZ Bred in Group.

7th August 2005, SDCH Title and WSD Title

Neo finishes his Sled Dog Championship (SDCH) title and his Working Single Dog (WSD) title at the FFSDC race in Taupo. This makes Neo the first Alaskan Malamute in New Zealand to be a Best In Show winner (all breeds championship show) and also have a SDCH title.
24th July 2005, Blondie Makes Top 20

The Top 20 list for Alaskan Malamutes in USA is printed for May and Blondie makes number 16 on the list. Not a bad result from the puppy class!

9th, 10th, 11th July 2005, NZ Sled Dog Champs Success

Our two dog team of Kali and Neo are the fastest overall Alaskan Malamute Team at the NZ Sled Dog Champs in Taupo. Neo also finishes the fastest Malamute in the single freight race.

11th June 2005, SDCH Title

Kali finishes her Sled Dog Championship (SDCH) title after Michael wins the two dog freight class at the SISHC Winter Warmup race in Christchurch.
